Founder of Endowment 'Jovo Lojanica Stupljanin”

Jovo Lojanica was born on Palm Sunday 1950 from mother Marija and father Veljo in Stup near Sjenica, Serbia.

First six grades of school he attended in Primary school “Branko Radičević” in Stup. His 7th and 8th grades of primary school as also Gymasium “Mirko Luković” (secondary school with natural sciences and mathematics course) he completed in Kraljevo.

Faculty of engineering Jovo finished in Skopje in 1974.

He completed master studies in 2014 at European Center for Peace and Development at United Nations University for Peace.

He is currently obtaining his doctoral title in area of strategic management at European Center for Peace and Development at United Nations University for Peace.

Jovo Lojanica worked from 1974 until 1989 in Zavodi “Crvena Zastava”- Factory of commercial vehicles in various departments: technology, research and development, logistics, manufacturing, export, quality control, management.

Since December 19, 1989 he has been offering consulting services to institutions and companies in areas of strategic management, improvement of business systems, introduction of international standards ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OHS 18000, business excellence, HACCP, organic production and others.

He advised hundreds of companies and performed audits in many thousands of companies in various languages.He has been successfully completed projects in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Japan, China, Libya, Bulgaria and many others.

He worked on most continents (North and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia) in more than 50 countries of the world, including Western and North Europe, Russia, Japan, China, Libya.

Apart from his mother tongue Serbian, he fluently speaks and writes in English, Italian, Russian, Macedonia and Bulgarian.

Jovo has many hobbies and activities, which he often pursues: winter sports on skis and snowboard, hiking and mountaineering (climbed Ararat in Turkey (5137m), Kilimanjaro in Kenya (5986m), and most recently, in 2013, Aconcagua in Argentina (6962m)), running (regularly runs half marathons in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Vienna, Kragujevac, Sjenica), diving (up to depth of 20m), paragliding and others.

He is married and has two daughters, who finished primary education in Serbia, secondary education in United States and their studies at best state universities in Europe, in Vienna. They each speak five foreign languages.

Jovo has been helping in various periods of his life individuals and groups to have a dignified life. He is always on an outlook for like-minded people who enjoy learning and working, traveling, sharing their knowledge and helping others. In 2012 Jovo founded Foundation for better future "Jovo Lojanica" to support talented students, religious objects, projects in environmental protection and similar causes.

 

In 2015 Jovo founded Endowment "Jovo Lojanica Stupljanin" to attain goals of wider public of Raška region by educating its inhabitants.

He lives and works in Belgrade, with frequent stays in his hometown. He enjoys an active exchange with local inhabitants of Stari Vlah, Jadovnik, Golija, Giljeva, Pešter plateau, Zlatibor, Zlatar and nearby areas.
