An invitation to states and institutions
We invite states, embassies, museums, archives, universities, schools, associations, organisations and individuals to help us research and preserve historical memory.
Learning from others
We do not wish merely to present our own reading of the past. We want to learn from other countries.
We are particularly interested in how other states preserve the memory of their soldiers, civilians, humanitarian workers, physicians and volunteers, and how those memories reach children and young people.

A Declaration of Humanity and the Culture of Remembrance
We are preparing a Declaration of Humanity and the Culture of Remembrance, open to institutions and individuals who accept its principles: respect for historical fact, dignified remembrance of victims, gratitude for humanity and courage, rejection of hatred as a way of interpreting the past, and the transmission of positive experience to younger generations.
We want this project to be the beginning of long-term international cooperation, not a single event.
